Not sure how to make the "history window" visible in VS2008 SP1.

I followed the exact instructions as following:

"Automated installation:

  1. Download VLH2005-beta-3.0.0-setup.exe
  2. Launch the setup program and follow instructions. VS2008 and VS2005 are automatically detected and you can choose on which version(s) of Visual Studio you want to install the add-in.
  3. Restart Visual Studio
  4. Make the history window visible using the command bar under the Tools menu.
  5. Enjoy ;-)

The installation worked fine, no error, and I restarted VS2008.

However, I am not sure how should I proceed at step 4...

Just cannot make the "history window" visible...

Would someone please kindly help...?

Even after reinstall I can't see the History View option in the Tools menu, to get the view displayed you will configure a shortcut for the show local history view  to do that go to Tools-Options-Environnement/Keybord search for the 'ShowLocalHistory' command and assign a shortcut. after validating you can show the view using the chosen shortcut.
